Ice machines...
Ice machines are usually classed by the quantity of ice they make in 24 hours and the storage capacity of the bin. Most machines have a storage capacity of about half the daily production. The average pub machine would make about 40kg per day, and store about 20kg.
Various methods are employed to produce the ice. Each has its advantages, however some machines are more susceptible than others to limescale, vibration, variations in ambient temperature, and other external factors.
We would always recommend a site survey to determine which machine is most suitable.
The fitting of a calcium treatment unit is advised, to avoid poor quality ice and breakdowns due to limescale.
Our best-selling ice machines are Simag and Whirlpool, on which we offer very attractive discounts.
We can now also supply the fabulous Simag crushed ice machine.
